Who can join Sydney Alterna Choir?
Short answer: Anyone & Everyone
Everyone can sing. No really, everyone! If you can speak, you can sing (it's literally the same thing, we can help you finesse it).
We embrace and cherish the diversity of our choir members (gender, sexuality, cultural background, disability) and we believe that the diversity of our membership adds to the richness of all our experiences in choir.
What’s the vibe like?
We are very chill and relaxed about our approach. We understand people have busy lives and can't necessarily come every week. We don't pigeonhole you into one voice part forever. If you want to sing bass for one song and soprano for the next, go for your life!
